DAY 1
ARRIVAL MEDAN → BUKIT LAWANG

Arrival at Kualanamu International Airport.

Drive to Bukit Lawang (approx. 4 hours) through palm oil plantations.

Check-in at riverside eco-lodge by the Bahorok River.

Briefing session with a local jungle guide.

Overnight in Bukit Lawang.

DAY 2
RAINFOREST TREKKING

Breakfast at lodge.

→
Half-day jungle trek (3–4 hours) into Gunung Leuser National Park.

Chance to observe orangutans, siamangs, langurs, and Thomas leaf monkeys; sightings are never guaranteed.

Jungle picnic lunch in the forest.

Return to lodge. Afternoon swim in the river.

Overnight in Bukit Lawang.

TUBING & BAT CAVE

Breakfast at lodge.

River tubing only when river level, weather, guest fitness, and the local guide's safety assessment allow.

Visit Bat Cave (Gua Kelawar).

Afternoon at leisure in Bukit Lawang village. Optional BBQ fish dinner.
